As the managing director, Vlado is responsible for business development and deal sourcing, as well as advising clients on deal structuring, valuation and strategic decision making.

Before founding BSG, Vlado worked for 10 years as the Head of Financial Advisory at Paktor, one of the most respectable private consulting companies in Croatia. While at Paktor, he spent the last seven years working as Head of M&A, participating in numerous M&A transactions and restructuring for clients from various industries.

Vlado has extensive experience advising medium and small-size clients on company valuation and other aspects of the M&A process, both at strategic and operational levels.

Previously, he was Head of Back Office at a stock brokerage company, as well as an auditor assistant for one of the largest independent auditing companies in Croatia.

He holds an MA in International Finance from EADA Business School in Barcelona and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Webster University in Vienna. Vlado is currently completing his PhD in Macroeconomics at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

He holds the position of lecturer at the Certified Valuator education programme, organised by the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split, for the Association of Accountants, Auditors and Financial Advisors of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vlado is a member of the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) of Zurich and the Institute’s Ambassador for Croatia, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He is a certified International Mergers and Acquisitions Expert (IM&A), and a Certified Appraiser and a member of the Croatian Appraiser Association.

At BSG, Mislav is responsible for business development, financial modelling, and for advising clients on accounting and controlling.

Before joining BSG, Mislav was a member of the Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer at Stanić Beverages (ex Juicy), where in addition to the daily financial supervision, he was in charge of acquisitions, as well as the restructuring of acquired companies.

For 6 years leading to his position at Stanić Beverages, Mislav had been the Head Financial Analyst at Stanić Group, a company for the international distribution and production of beverages. He was in charge of control and reporting at international and local levels, including budgeting, controlling, accounting, taxes, cost management, relation with investors, as well as monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. He was also a member of the Group’s M&A team, where he was responsible for financial modelling, strategic planning and post-merger integration. His role also included operational participation in acquisition procedures, particularly in financial and tax due diligence, valuation modelling, negotiations, non-binding and binding bids preparation, etc.

He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

He is a Certified Appraiser and a member of the Croatian Appraiser Association.

Mislav is a committed member of the local community, particularly active in the field of the nature and ecology.

Marin Mandić JUNIOR PARTNER

At BSG, Marin is responsible for advising both central and local government-controlled companies and institutions as well as local self-government entities. Marin’s role includes drafting business, financial and investment studies. He is also responsible for loan applications, EU fund tender applications, and concession grant tender applications.

Prior to BSG, Marin spent 7 years as Senior Advisor for financial analysis at Paktor, one of the most prestigious independent consulting companies in Croatia. He was in charge of investments, business planning and investment studies, the implementation of the EU fund projects, financial modelling, etc.

He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

He is a Certified Appraiser and a member of the Croatian Appraiser Association.

Marin is active in amateur sports development and the organisation of amateur sports competitions, as well as a sports statistics enthusiast.
